We stayed at this hotel as a married couple and, unfortunately, encountered a very serious situation that completely ruined our stay.
During our absence, a housekeeping staff member entered our room. After that, we discovered that €1.200 in cash had gone missing. Given the circumstances, we believe that the staff member who cleaned our room may have been i... →nvolved.
As far as we understand, such procedures should be carried out in accordance with certain rules (in particular, with two staff members present and the door left open). In our case, only one employee entered the room, which raises additional concerns.
We immediately contacted the hotel administration, called the police, and filed an official report. We have all the supporting materials, including photos and other evidence. The staff member was invited for questioning, and even the possibility of a polygraph test was discussed, but no real action was taken by the hotel.
What was especially upsetting was the attitude of the management. The administrator and the hotel director not only failed to provide assistance but also refused to speak with us. Communication was marked by rudeness and indifference instead of any attempt to resolve the situation. We were not even helped with basic steps, including interacting with the police — we had to handle everything ourselves.
In addition, the overall condition of the hotel raises serious concerns. We were left with a strong impression that sanitary standards were not properly observed:
— dishes were often served wet, which raises doubts about how well they were cleaned;
— the food was extremely monotonous;
— treatment areas, based on our observations, were not properly sanitized between guests;
— the quality of room cleaning was also questionable, including whether bed linen was actually changed.
Taken together, this creates a sense of poor hygiene and lack of proper control over cleanliness.
For a hotel claiming a four-star rating, such treatment of guests and organization is unacceptable. Instead of a relaxing stay, we experienced significant stress and had to deal with the loss of money.
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.
